Jeppesen and Garmin Now Offer Navigation Data and Chart Bundle Services for Popular G1000 Series Avionics

Jeppesen and Garmin customers are now able to choose between bundle options that include Jeppesen NavData, Jeppesen eCharts (JeppView for Multi-Function Display) and/or Garmin FliteCharts

Jeppesen, a unit of Boeing Flight Services, and Garmin, a leading satellite navigation avionics provider, now offer Jeppesen’s industry-leading NavData navigation information and charting services in several bundle service options for G1000 avionics systems. Garmin G1000 avionics systems supported by Jeppesen data feature large-format, high resolution displays for enhanced situational awareness in the cockpit for business and general aviation operators.

Jeppesen and Garmin customers are now able to choose between bundle options that include Jeppesen NavData, Jeppesen eCharts (JeppView for Multi-Function Display) and/or Garmin FliteCharts. The new agreement supports four data bundle options and provides a single aircraft pricing structure. Each bundle option includes Garmin’s popular SafeTaxi, Obstacle, Terrain and Airport Directory services.

This flexible bundle solution provides customers with multiple options for the supply of critical flight data to fit individual operator needs at a discounted rate. The G1000 bundle solution agreement also allows Jeppesen and Garmin data service customers to simplify the research, purchase, database update and customer support process, now provided through a single source of contact for the customer.

The bundled, single aircraft pricing structure data solution now available from Jeppesen and Garmin provides G1000 customers with a pricing discount, when compared to purchasing data solutions individually. Full U.S. coverage for the JeppView MFD bundle solution provides an approximate 20 percent savings over individual data solution pricing, for example.
