Jeppesen, a unit of Boeing Flight Services, now offers delivery of Express JeppView digital charting services through multiple platforms, including multi-function display (MFD) avionics systems such as Garmin, Avidyne and EuroAvionics and portable devices from Garmin and SOLIDFX. Express JeppView is also available on iPad, using the Jeppesen Mobile TC App or the newly introduced Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck App with enroute capabilities.

Express JeppView services from Jeppesen provide general aviation and small business customers with smaller chart coverage regions at a reduced cost, with digital chart subscription services starting at $76 annually. Full functionality of the industry-leading Jeppesen Mobile TC and Mobile FliteDeck Apps for iPad is available for the general aviation market at no additional charge with an Express JeppView subscription.

“Delivering the stunning capabilities of Jeppesen Mobile TC and Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck on iPad at a lower price point for our general aviation customers was a top priority for Jeppesen,” said Tim Huegel, director, Jeppesen Portfolio Management, Aviation. “With Express solutions from Jeppesen, our general aviation customers can choose what delivery solution works best for their needs and take full advantage of the benefits of digital solutions. Smaller geographical region coverage allows pilots to choose what coverage they need at a reduced cost.”

Express JeppView services provide digital charting and procedure information for the same geographic coverage regions currently available with Jeppesen paper charting services. Express Paper serves as a transitional solution to move pilots from traditional paper chart coverage to new digital chart services.

No initial software fees are associated with Express JeppView subscriptions and individual trip kits are available for each coverage region, providing a complete set of charts for a pilot’s typical flying area.

Express JeppView customers receive four site keys with their subscription to load Jeppesen digital charts on up to four mobile computing devices for planning, operation or backup purposes. One available site key is needed to download the Jeppesen Mobile TC or Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck App available through the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.

Express JeppView MFD services are available for avionics systems such as the Garmin GTN 700 Series, G500, G500H, G600, G300, G3X, G1000, G900X, Perspective, GMX200 and MX20. Express JeppView service is also available with the Avidyne Entegra Series – EX500, EX600, EX5000 and the EuroAvionics EuroNav V systems. Express services are also available for portable devices such as the SOLIDFX FX8 and FX10 and Garmin Portable GPS, GPSMAP 695/696 units.
