Jeppesen, a unit of Boeing Flight Services, now offers computer-based training for the popular Garmin GPSMAP 696 avionics platform. The Jeppesen eLearning program offers scenario-based, guided simulation training, covering all GPSMAP 696 operational aspects for both initial and recurrent training participants.
Offered for Windows-based desktop computers, the Jeppesen GPSMAP 696 eLearning program allows pilots to learn at their own pace and practice procedures in a comfortable environment. Responding to strong customer demand, the Jeppesen training program incorporates a visual, hands-on approach that enables quick learning of procedures, facilitated by extensive animated sequences with supporting narration. In addition, a realistic emulator feature enhances pilot training with on-screen prompts and real-time feedback.
