Mexicana Airlines has signed a contract extension for all of the Jeppesen crew, fleet and passenger optimization tools that are currently in use at Mexicana. The contract also includes an upgrade to the most recent version of the Crew Tracking Classic system (formerly known as MaestroCrew).
“Mexicana is constantly striving to make the operation more efficient and proactively meet our customer’s needs. By using the Carmen optimizers from Jeppesen we have increased crew productivity more than 10% over the years. With the newest release of the crew tracking system, we will be better equipped to retain those savings in the operation,” says Captain Alejandro Rangel, executive VP of Operations at Mexicana.
“We are proud of Mexicana’s continued confidence in us as a partner. By adding the former MaestroCrew product to the Carmen suite, Jeppesen will be able to support an even more synchronized crew management process for our clients. For Mexicana it was crucial that the new version is integrated with the Jeppesen optimization recovery tools for crew, fleet and passengers,” says Thomas Wede, senior vice president and general manager, Jeppesen Commercial and Military Aviation.
