Having introduced the successful Private Pilot Online training course earlier in the year, Jeppesen is once again, in response to customer feedback, providing a quality pilot training course that makes it easier and less expensive to obtain a pilot certificate.
“As with our traditional textbook training materials, the course objective for the online version is to provide the knowledge, skill and aeronautical experience necessary to meet the requirements for a sport pilot certificate with an airplane category rating and single-engine land class rating,” said Thomas Wede, senior vice president and general manager, Aviation.
As with the other training courses, the Sport Pilot Online course is delivered via the Jeppesen Learning Center – a unique system that tracks all students and instructors as they progress through the lessons and exams. Instructors have access to review overall school results, as well as all students work, including lesson completions, exam results and specific questions. The lessons are interactive and engaging to maximize student retention. The online course is comprehensive and fully prepares students to take the written knowledge exam. The course also provides detailed flight lessons and animated maneuver lessons that can be effectively used by both students and certified flight instructors.
The new Jeppesen Sport Pilot Online course is the second of several new and enhanced online courses. The next course scheduled to be released is the Jeppesen Instrument Pilot Online course.
