Eurocontrol – Changes in route charging
Changes in the way flights are charged for using Eurocontol Airspace are now in effect.
Eurocontrol have stated” From 1 January 2020, EUROCONTROL is now using the actual route flown as recorded by the EUROCONTROL Network Manager to establish the distance factor used for the calculation of route charges. This is in contrast to the previous practice, whereby the distance factor was calculated based on the last filed flight plan”
