Wingly’s Upcoming Events in 2020
Have you heard about our cooperation partner Wingly? Wingly runs a flight sharing platform all over Europe. Using the platform, private pilots may offer passengers seats on their flights between aerodromes, or for a sight-seeing flight, by charging each passenger a share of only the operational expenses of this specific flight. Wingly has 17,000 pilots and 300,000 members spanning 3,000 cities. They operate over ten thousand flights each year and are insured by Allianz.
Wingly will organize three fly-ins for 2020 where Jeppesen will also be present. Please note the dates below:
- Saturday June 20th – German Fly-In – Koblenz

- Saturday July 11th – UK Fly-In – Sandown Airporton Isle of Wight

For the Sandown event, Wingly pilots and their guests will be treated to a free landing at Sandown, a delicious complimentary BBQ and live music. With plenty to see in the local area and only a stone’s throw away from the beach, we would encourage you to make a weekend out of it. Overnight parking and camping is available free at the airfield.
