Every year, tens of thousands of Canadians take action against shoreline litter by participating in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, an event jointly led by the Vancouver Aquarium and World Wildlife Fund Canada.
Since 2003, over 400,000 participants from coast to coast have removed nearly one million kilos of garbage from the shorelines.
